Maureen has 25 years of progressive leadership experience in the postsecondary, healthcare, government and not-for-profit sectors. She holds a diploma in Business Administration from Fleming College, and holds an MBA from the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Business and a BAA from Lakehead University.
She was most recently the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Sport for the government of Ontario and was also appointed Deputy Minister of the Status of Women. Maureen served as President and CEO for the Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences and as CEO of Cystic Fibrosis Canada. She also held the position of Vice-President, Corporate Services at Mohawk College.
Her volunteer work has included the Board of Directors of Research Canada, the Toronto Transit Commission, and the Scarborough and Rouge Valley Hospital.
