Post Graduate Programs
These programs can help you add specialized skills to your college diploma or university degree - and give you an edge in the job market. We have programs in a wide variety of career areas, including the environment, business, technology, arts, and community development.

Apprenticeships
Ontario's Apprenticeship Certification Act recommends that those in the designated trades be employed and registered as apprentices with the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Development. In addition to on-the-job training, all apprentices in these trades are required to attend classes in trade training and related academic subjects at an approved agency. Fleming College offers a variety of apprenticeship programs , combining the required practical experience and theory, led by fully qualified instructors. Facilities used are well-equipped, industrial technical shops.

Fleming College offers several programs that lead to rewarding careers FOR WORKPLACE LEVEL GRADS. Bridge programs that offer credit or guaranteed entry to our college diploma programs are also available.

International Education

Indigenous Education Designation
The Indigenous Education Designation is replacing the Aboriginal Emphasis Initiative formerly offered at Fleming College. The purpose of the IPD is to provide students who choose to access this optional learning with a more in-depth knowledge of Indigenous (First Nations, Métis and Inuit) peoples, their cultures, histories, traditions and contributions to our shared society. The programs that offer the IPD as an option have also committed to providing discipline-specific Indigenous curriculum, beyond what will be offered in the two general education subjects that students are required to take.

Better Jobs Ontario Training
Better Jobs Ontario, formerly known as Second Career, is a Government of Ontario program that provides up to $28,000 for tuition, books and other instructional costs, transportation, childcare, disability-related supports, literacy and basic skills training, and a basic living allowance (up to $500 per week). The program is a cost-sharing grant based on need ¾ applicants may be asked to contribute to their training or education.

Education Pathways
Did you know that you could use your Fleming College certificate or diploma to continue your postsecondary education in pursuit of a degree? Fleming has many articulation and credit transfer agreements with Ontario, Canadian and international postsecondary institutions. Each articulation or credit transfer agreement summarizes admission requirements and the recognition of credits earned through a Fleming College certificate or diploma program.
