Concerned About a Student?

If you're worried about a student but don’t feel the situation requires an immediate crisis response, we’re here to help. You can complete the Student of Concern form below to initiate a referral to the Student Support response team. This form is available for anyone connected to the student - whether you're faculty, staff, a fellow student, family member, or roommate. We’re here to support you and the student every step of the way.

To speak with someone for crisis phone support dial or text 988 on any telephone for Canada's National 24/7 crisis support. You can also receive 24/7 supportive counselling via telephone from Good2Talk by calling 1-866-925-5454 or texting GOOD2TALKON at 686868.

If you are a Fleming College student seeking help related to your mental health or overall wellness, there are services, resources, and supports available to you right now. These services come at no additional cost, and we strongly encourage students to reach out to one or more of the available options, both virtually and in person. Below is a sample of some of the available support, but you can view a full list of all services on our Student Experience Page.

Campus Security provides immediate support 24/7, assists with safety planning, and provides taxi chits to travel to the hospital.

Counselling and Accessible Education Services provides free and confidential counseling and supports students responding to an incident of harm or assisting a friend through such an incident.

Student Success Coaches are non-judgmental listeners that provide support to students encountering challenges, or who feel lost navigating the services or processes that Fleming has in place.

The Student Rights & Responsibilities Office (SRRO) is here to help students navigate college experience.
