Adobe Photoshop - Level 2

Examine some of the more advanced concepts of Photoshop, including preparing images for print, quick mask, blending images together, preparing images for web use, colour mapping and using alpha channels. We will explore advanced digital imaging processes for the web through the use of the tools available in Adobe's Photoshop software. You will gain stronger abilities in selecting design parameters and style, creatively developing and assessing various design solutions, and executing the projects in a professional manner to produce appealing results. Web design issues such as GIF animation, navigation, slicing, rollovers, optimizing and previewing web page as well as the available software tools will be explored. Software required: Photoshop CS5 or newer (not suitable for users of Photoshop Elements)
