Beading - ReconsiliAction Workshop

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
In this one-day workshop, learn beading techniques from an Indigenous knowledge holder. You will create a beaded orange shirt pin and a red dress pin, which have both become well-known symbols of truth and reconciliation in Canada. Gain a historical understanding about Indigenous beadwork.
