Youth Art Camp: Fibre Art Techniques

This course has been designated as a youth course. The expected age range is between 10 to 13. Special consideration may be granted in certain circumstances. However, on the first day of class, we reserve the right to remove a participant from any course that does not meet the age requirements where a special circumstance was not communicated and granted. No refund will be issued.
This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Have a blast painting, dyeing and stamping fabric. Learn how to use a sewing machine to sew, free motion and hand sketch your creative designs. You will learn how to design, create, experiment and play in a supportive environment. Skills learned will allow you to create at least three pieces that can be finished as wall hangings or fixed to canvas boards and framed. You will be required to bring a familiar and reliable sewing machine in good working order. It is also imperative to bring a free motion foot and be able to drop the feed dogs.
