“Congratulations to the students for their hard work and commitment to their applied projects with industry and non-profit partners. I’m sure this will lay the groundwork for them for future innovations,” said Maureen Adamson, Fleming College President. “Also, a big thank you to Bell for their continued support of this wonderful event and the entrepreneurial spirit.”
This annual event showcases the creativity and fresh ideas that students bring to help industry and non-profit sponsors find innovative solutions to business and technology challenges. The past year has presented unique and unprecedented uncertainties, and Fleming students have risen to the challenge. That includes doing a lot of their work and meetings online, and they will also be presenting their projects online this year.
In addition to academic credits that students earn for their work on real-world problems, there’s also $9,000 in prize money for the top teams. For more information about the projects and Showcase events on April 22 & 29, please visit the website.
