Fleming College to host networking event for Project Management professionals
Fleming College’s School of Business will host its first professional Project Management event on Tuesday, March 22 at Sutherland Campus.
The event, which takes place from 7-9 p.m. in the Kawartha Trades and Technology Centre, includes dinner and networking activities.
Keynote speaker Al Mastromartino will present Efficient Persuasion in the Workplace, which highlights simple yet effective techniques to engage key stakeholders in the completion of projects.
Albert Mastromartino is a full-time professor within Fleming’s School of Business and is the Principal of Mastromartino and Co. Inc. (Marketing and Management Consulting). He is an experienced presenter, coach and leadership consultant.
Mr. Mastromartino’s professional experience includes major international advertising agencies, senior management position at the Nissan Canada Foundation, and board positions at the Canadian Hearing Society, and the Healing Arts and Radiation Protection Commission of Ontario’s Ministry of Health.
Professional project managers and anyone interested in this relevant topic are welcome. This event qualifies for 1.5 Professional Development Units (PDU) – one PDU for Strategic and 0.5 PDU for Leadership – within Project Management Institute’s Continuing Certification Requirements.
Donations of non-perishable food items for Kawartha Food Share will be welcome at the door.
Pre-register at PMI-DHC.ca. Tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Tickets for students are $15.
