Free skilled trades information session

The Fleming CREW Employment Centre will host a free information session on skilled trades on Thursday, Oct. 25.

The free session will take place at the Haliburton Legion (719 Mountain St.) from 10 a.m. to noon. All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be provided.

Those attending can learn more about: Second Career government funding, AZ/DZ license, heavy equipment operator, gas technician (19-week co-op), drilling and blasting, electrical power generation, general apprenticeships, and focus on auto mechanic training.

The session will feature guest speakers from Fleming College, the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities, Transport Training Centres of Canada, and Hi Mark Occupational Skills Centre.
