HSTA offers new summer arts courses in Huntsville
Create It in Huntsville this summer.
For the first time ever, Fleming College’s Haliburton School of The Arts – in partnership with Education Huntsville, Canada Summit Centre and the Town of Huntsville – will offer week-long arts courses for children and adults this July.
“The creativity and love of the arts that is evident in the Muskoka community makes for a natural partnership with Fleming College. When Haliburton School of The Arts was first approached by Education Huntsville almost two years ago, we knew this was a great opportunity to share our 40-plus years of excellence in the arts with a vibrant community,” said Sandra Dupret, Principal of the Haliburton Campus.
The courses are a great balance of media and techniques being led by renowned Haliburton School of The Arts faculty as well as new instructors from the Muskoka region. All courses will be offered at the Canada Summit Centre in Huntsville.
Courses: Photography – Travel & Landscape; Storytelling; Printmaking Sampler; Kids Eco Art; Life Drawing & Painting; Mosaics; Watercolour Painting; Acrylics & Mixed Media; Sculpting, Modelling & Mould-making Techniques; Bookbinding Sampler; Quilting; Landscape – Creative Approaches; Kids’ Creative Express; Sheep to Shawl; Bead Weaving Basics; Pen & Ink and Colour; and, Open Studio – Painting.
