I Made It! Student art exhibition at Haliburton School of The Arts
Haliburton ON – (April 9, 2015) – Hammering, sawing and bending metal – most nights Fleming College student, Amanda Snider can be found working in the jewellery studio at the Haliburton Campus as she prepares for I Made It!
I Made It! Is the end-of-semester art exhibition hosted by current students in full-time diploma and certificate programs at the Haliburton School of The Arts. This one day show will take place on Saturday, April 25 between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the Haliburton Campus.
“I’m really looking forward to the show,” says 19 year-old Snider who is originally from Westport, Ontario. “I’m excited to see other people’s work and get the public’s reaction to everything I have been creating over the last few months.”
I Made It! provides an opportunity for emerging artists to gain exhibition experience and showcase their many talents. The student-based initiative will feature a variety of media from winter semester students including painting and drawing, jewellery, glass blowing, digital design, mixed media and sculpture. Artists will be available to discuss their works and answer questions. Select works will be available for purchase.
The exhibition is free of charge and open to all. Join inspiring students for light refreshments as well as the opportunity to explore the unique and stimulating space that is the Haliburton School of The Arts.
