Social media conference at the Cobourg Campus
Social media represents a transformational shift in how we communicate and connect in today’s world. Uncovering the power and potential to engage consumers in new ways through social media is the focus of an upcoming one-day conference at Fleming College’s Cobourg Campus.
Connections; a social media conference will provide a full day of expert-led sessions on specific social media tools on Tuesday, Mar. 29.
Whether it’s small businesses, government agencies, or non-profit organizations, the conference will provide participants with an overview and context for social media in marketing as well as time dedicated to hands-on learning.
The conference will also feature keynote speaker Sue Sutcliffe, a committed Internet pioneer and e-marketing specialist. Ms. Sutcliffe is the head of a cutting-edge website design company and she is an invaluable Internet-savvy conduit between today’s technology and the client.
The conference, sponsored by Northumberland Community Futures Development Corporation, will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Mar. 29 at the Cobourg Campus, 1005 Elgin St. W. The cost is $200, or $150 for Chamber of Commerce members, and lunch will be provided. To register, call 905-372-6865 x 5000.
