This jam-packed week of art play introduces you to the practice of Expressive Arts and ways to bring this mindful practice to classrooms, communities, places of worship, clubs, youth groups, staffs and committees, organizations or any gathering wanting to foster connection, perspective and strength via creativity. Explore painting, sculpture, music, collage, dance, poetry, felting etc as you connect to the natural beauty of the Haliburton Highlands. Absolutely no art background is required. You are not making works of art; you are making the arts work for you! By week's end you will have a deeper understanding of Expressive Arts, a beginner's toolbox of skills and exercises, and the confidence to share one or more with your chosen community.
