This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Explore the freedom of doodling through mark making prompts as a spring- board for your wallpaper design. Reflect on possible subject matter, while learning about designing repetition through colour harmony, line, shape, and form. There will be lots of stamping, splattering, sewing, and gluing involved, so be prepared for brilliant colour and sticky figures. You are encouraged to collect recycled materials such as onion bags, old gift wrappings, fabric swatches, ribbon, string, beads and lace.
