Music - Blues Guitar - Beginner & Intermediate

This course has been designated at a beginner/intermediate level. These courses may branch into skill building beyond the beginner level, but the faculty member is also willing to take on students with no previous skills.
Learn the basics of blues guitar playing - blues scales, soulful strumming rhythms and grooves, incorporating space in a guitar solo, and telling a story with a guitar solo. Keep it groovy by incorporating guitar licks and turnarounds. Tips on accompanying others and jamming with the other students will also be included. The course will be blues oriented but will apply to other music styles such as singer/songwriter, rock, and country.
