Paper Craft - Make a Miniature Washi Wardrobe

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Make your own tiny paper wardrobe from a beautiful selection of handmade, heritage Japanese washi papers. There is no sewing required in the assembly. You will begin by using prepared patterns to learn techniques. As skill builds, you will be encouraged to experiment and customize to make your own unique selection of garments and accessories. Washi may be painted with watercolours to beautiful effect. Explore the integration of printmaking techniques to add pattern and texture. At the end of the week creative ways will be taught to display your tiny works of decorative art.
