This course has been designated at a beginner level. No previous knowledge or skill is needed to take these courses.
Instruction in this course will be delivered at the beginner level of wheel throwing and will include demonstrations on cylinders, bowls, plates, glaze techniques and the firing process. The development of your personal style and the encouragement of artistic license will prevail. One bisque and one glaze fire will be accomplished during the course. Should you be inspired and enthusiastic upon completion of this course, you would be capable of taking Pottery II.
