This course has been designated at a beginner level. No previous knowledge or skill is needed to take these courses.
Explore a variety of surface techniques in the ceramic studio. You will be given two pre-made lunch size plates that can be fully embellished with pattern, motifs and ornamentation of your choosing. This workshop is a perfect meld of painting, printmaking and exploring clay as a canvas. You are encouraged to come to the workshop with some sketches and motifs to play with. All work will be fired, glazed with a clear glaze and ready for pick up within 3 weeks of the workshop. No experience with clay is necessary.
