Learn the metal techniques of anticlastic and synclastic forming, chasing and repousse, forging, sinking and raising. Use these methods to create sculptural bangles, earrings, rings and other jewellery pieces or use them to design functional metal objects such as bowls, vases and candlesticks. Designs done in chasing and repousse can alternatively be used on metal bicycle and motorcycle fenders. The possibilities are endless! Beginners are welcome and will be guided to choose a project for their skill level. Experienced students can work on their individual projects with hands on guidance from the instructor. Have an exciting week moving metal to create a functional piece made by you.
