This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Using a Styrofoam base, prepare three various sized spheres for the garden. With multiple layers of fibreglass, mesh, sand, and cement you will have the opportunity to mosaic your spheres using stone. Along with the hands-on preparation, other instruction will include what materials and products are suitable for outdoors in Canada and how to choose and prepare bases for longevity. This is a process-based course where you will prepare your three spheres simultaneously, allowing curing time between layers. Any incomplete spheres will be prepped to mosaic at a future time.
