This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
This course is an introduction to outdoor mosaic for the Canadian climate. Throughout the week, you will produce an un-grouted outdoor mosaic on wediboard. Instruction will include preparation of substrates, as well as what hangers, products and materials are needed to survive the Canadian outdoors. Learn how and where to source materials for mosaic, and what works in the Canadian climate! Cutting techniques and tools for a variety of materials design considerations will be provided.
