This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
This course offers a relaxed, fun and interactive approach to the world of opera! Based in storytelling through words, music, and the magic of design, opera (the Italian word for work) offers creative possibilities for everyone. Learn historical timelines as well as the elements of opera creation through audio visual examples and interactive theatre games that will have you creating an opera from scratch. The vocal component of this course focuses on the basics of freeing up your voice and an introduction to how the voice works for singing.
