Youth/Teen - The Natural Way to Draw & Paint

Course Code: ARTS2592

This course has been designated as a youth/teen course. The expected age range is between 10 to 17. Special consideration may be granted in certain circumstances. However, on the first day of class, we reserve the right to remove a participant from any course that does not meet the age requirements where a special circumstance was not communicated and granted. No refund will be issued.
This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Discover drawing and painting through this sensory and nature-based course. Explore many ways of drawing using touch and experiencing the living force that abounds in nature. Develop a sensory awareness of the natural world through fun exercises that help discover the magic of really seeing. Learn how to draw from within as you respond to nature, exploring gesture, movement, weight, and your perception of space. Move into colour by exploring watercolour pencils and transition into painting with watercolours.
