This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Zentangle is an easy to learn, relaxing and fun way to create beautiful images by drawing structured patterns. Become immersed in the Zentangle method and delve into a variety of Zentangle inspired art projects. This course will combine traditional Zentangle drawings with new patterns as you build a library of images for future projects. Patterns will be used in mono printing with gel plates, foam boards and acrylic paints and enhanced with watercolours and pastels. Throughout the week, a variety of papers, markers, and pens will be used. The final project will be a small booklet showcasing your favourite tangle work! Zentangle will inspire other creative endeavours such as pottery, quilting, jewellery making, journaling and more. No previous experience is necessary.
