Benches and Trees Donor Program
The Benches and Trees Donation Program provides alumni, employees and friends with the unique opportunity for a permanent tribute and honour the memory of a loved one who has passed away, commemorate a role model, or to celebrate an anniversary or life achievement.
Sponsoring a bench or tree in memory of an individual will enable you to make an enduring gift that will benefit countless students, employees and community members in the years to come. One hundred percent of the cost is for the purchase, installation and maintenance of the bench or tree.
Your bench or tree plaque may be inscribed to:
- Honour an individual
- Recognize a personal achievement
- Highlight an anniversary or event
- Celebrate a graduation or retirement
In addition:
- One hundred percent of the cost is for the purchase, installation and maintenance of the bench or tree
- Your gift is tax receipt eligible
- This commemorative gift will become a lasting fixture on campus
- A plaque will be placed on the bench with your personal message. A tree plaque will be installed at the foot of the tree
Note: If a formal ceremony is to accompany the installation of a tree or bench the donors are responsible for arranging details with approval by the Office of Advancement, Fleming College.
