Pre-Apprenticeship Training Programs

Get the skills and confidence you need to kick-start your career. Pre-Apprenticeship Training programs are FREE for eligible participants and provide a pathway to further trades training, an apprenticeship and/or employment.

Electrician student

Pre-Apprenticeship programs are funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development through a competitive Call for Proposal process.

Fleming successfully applied for and was awarded funding to offer Pre-Apprenticeship Training in Carpentry and Plumbing with participants beginning training in June 2023 and ending in January 2024. (Our Ministry contract was awarded in April 2023 with the competitive participant application process running in May 2023.)

Expression of Interest

We are no longer accepting expressions of interest in the 2023-2024 funding programs.

Should the Ministry announce a future round of funding for Pre-Apprenticeship Training, Fleming would investigate the opportunity to submit an application.

Please check back here and watch our social media channels for future opportunities.
