Drawing Basics Workshop

This course has been designated at a beginner level. No previous knowledge or skill is needed to take these courses.
In this fun and supportive workshop, learn the skills required to create realistic and pleasing drawings. Become familiar with the properties and uses of a range of drawing media, tools and papers typically used in this discipline. Learn strategies to increase your observation skills and methods for achieving accurate proportions. Line and shading techniques will be shown and contrast of value explored to create the illusion of form and distance in your work. Subject matter will include natural and inorganic structures. The objective of this workshop is to build strong, foundational skills and instill confidence.
