This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Bring new life to old furniture or home accessories using some of the newest and trendiest paints on the market. Transform dark and dingy furniture into fabulous vintage styles. Echo the beauty of florals or natural wood highlighted with a protective tinted finishing wax or glaze, for that timeless look of a country classic. Learn the finishing tips and tricks of waxes, glazes and colour to create the French battered look, the cool of watery blues or the warmth of the Tuscany sun. Chalk paints, milk paints and some of the new acrylics give a beautiful velvety matte finish and can be painted over old wood, metal, and plastic. You will also learn stencil, boarder and hand painting techniques that can enhance the surface of your work.
