Fibre Arts - Upcycled Clothing

Course Code: ARTS2818

This course has been designated as an intermediate/advanced level. These courses may branch into more advanced technical skills, so a minimum of beginner level of knowledge and skill is required. Please read course descriptions as they may list some skills you need to participate in the course instruction.
Learn to upcycle your own clothing from gently used items to create your own unique outfit. During the course you will upcycle a jean jacket, button down shirt and a skirt to poncho. Each piece will take roughly one day to create with back-up projects if time allows. Course discussions will be centered around the creative eye and how to piece materials and colours together. Remember, creativity breeds more creativity. The more you play in this space the more playful each piece will become.
