This course has been designated at a beginner/intermediate level. These courses may branch into skill building beyond the beginner level, but the faculty member is also willing to take on students with no previous skills.
Instruction will cover the fundamentals of landscape painting as well as more advanced techniques required to create contemporary expressive works. The basics of materials, techniques, and approaches, while working in the studio and en plein air will be discussed. Capture fleeting light, atmosphere, and movement of everyday scenes that might otherwise be taken for granted.
