Pursue the profound benefits of meditation through tactile and sound components. Learn the symbolism and anatomy of the mala, a strand of 108 beads that you progressively finger through while repeating a mantra, affirmation, or seed sound. Create your own customized mala from a selection of wood, crystal, glass, and ornamental beads and then put it into practice. You will also be introduced to the restorative benefits of sound to aid in meditation through a technique referred to as a sound bath. Quartz, crystal and Himalayan singing bowls, spirit drum, chimes, and several other unique sound tools will be played, surrounding you in an experiential soundscape while you rest. You will learn additional techniques that will inspire a sustainable meditation practice, resulting in deep relaxation and restoration for the body and mind.
