This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Discover the beauty of the wonderful medium of watercolour. In a relaxed class setting, you will learn the basics and more advanced methods of watercolour painting through demonstration and practice. Several painting techniques and processes will be incorporated into step-by-step exercises. Basic drawing tips and the role of the pencil for producing successful paintings will be discussed. Attention to value and contrast will be emphasized to achieve perspective in a variety of subjects. Four colour schemes will be employed to create harmony in your work and avoid "mud". You will be encouraged to focus on individual direction toward to end of the week.
