This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Investigate traditional watercolour techniques and how they can be translated into the convenience of acrylic paints. Delve into paint transparency, colour theory, value and water vs mediums with discussions on the benefits of canvas, and board vs papers. You will have an opportunity to try different supports and can paint any subject matter you like. The result will be creative, organic and flowing paintings that can be framed. Paint, pallets, papers and canvas will be supplied.
