This course encourages a deeper investigation into colour and its role in bringing a voice to your paintings. Through hands-on exploration you will enhance your overall understanding of colour ? from how to choose and mix, to using complex colour schemes to create paintings that literally ooze feeling and emotion. You will choose your own subject matter and most of your class time will be spent working on your own paintings. Discussion and feedback in a supportive environment will enhance your learning experience. This course is suitable for artists with some previous experience who want to focus on bringing emotion into their paintings.
