Acrylics - Realism: A Painter's Process

This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Focusing on process, this acrylic realism course will take you from how to cultivate inspiration to creating dynamic compositions that resonate with your unique perspective. Beginning with exploring different ways to source reference photos, you will be led through focused painting studies and exercises that build a strong foundation for painting in realism and your artistic practice. Throughout the week you will continue to learn techniques in realism painting as you focus on a final detailed painting(s). Integrate your inspirations, studies, and new techniques into a culminating piece that reflects the process and themes you are interested in.
