This course is welcome to all levels. Anyone can take these courses if interested. Beginner-level instruction will be provided for basic skills while more advanced users can work on more complex projects with instructor assistance.
Explore how to achieve harmonious full colour paintings with limited tubes of paint! Using the Zorn palette (4 tubes of paint) you will explore how to achieve a full range of flesh tones while working with a model. Working En Plein Air (weather permitting), you will work with the same limited palette to capture the natural landscape. The course will cover topics such as composition, dispelling myths around oil painting and toxicity, working with a solvent-free oil painting practice and more.
